Being alone as hubby died several years ago it is difficult to find a place where I can find honesty & integrity in a business especially for my car. Atherton works on Toyota vehicles yay! The owner & mechanics are always pleasant, they check all the cars needs with diagnostic and proceed with actual problem. They don't do other fixing thinking I'm a woman & thinking I wouldn't know. They always call if something costly to see if I want to proceed. Their mechanics are professional & find the causes & fix the problem. They are definitely the BEST in Council Bluffs. I am thankful they have my best interest of fixing my car with honesty.

My wife and I take our personal and company vehicles to Athertons for all our service. We have been doing so for at least 15 years. The Athertons have always been competetive and tell us what needs to be done and tell us what can wait that we should plan for over time. They stand behind their work and are timely in getting work done. We just finished running 5 vehicles in for service because while we are a little slow now we are going to be slammed very soon and wanted to get our service out of the way so we could respond to our customers. They managed to work all 5 vehicles in in 3 days with no advance notice.

Fast professional and most of all very clear with what they are doing and estimated costs.

AAA recommended Atherton when I called them after losing a tire on I-80. Matt communicated with me throughout the process of investigation and repair. More damage was done to the vehicle than initially expected but Matt searched out and offered alternatives all along the way. Atherton’s was a Godsend and we’re so pleased with the outcome. My 2010 Explorer felt solid and steady on the road home. Matt even let us know about a few other unrelated things to check out once we got home. Thanks Matt and Nick.
