Back Forty Bar & Grill

Great experience tonight! We were in Shen for the KMAland Hall of Fame (my father-in-law was an inductee) and wanted to have dinner closer to home. We found the Back Forty online and made a reservation. We arrived much later than planned and the staff were very accommodating. We were a party of 10 and it was very close to closing time but they took good care of us. Beer was cold! Food was great! Service was too! Wonderful time! Thanks much!

Staff friendly. Restaurant clean. I touched salt, pepper and sauses to make sure. Food great quality. Seasoning on chicken strips and onion rings gets a zero. Beer cheese dip worth every penny of the 75 cents they charge for it. Long Island Iced Tea VERY strong. Over all would return I'll try the pizza next time.

Amazing food and great place to eat on a date or with the family

This place is what makes small towns worth driving to. The food was good. The service was fast and everyone had a smile on their face. The salad bar could use some attention, or just get rid of it and just prep the salads in the kitchen. Maybe just a pickle bar or something. But catfish was great, and my steak was just about perfect! We will be back.
