Lake Garnett Park

Good place to go ride a bike, fish, and relax

It's a decent lake. Perfectly sized for a nice jaunt (a little under 3 miles), paved all the way. Mostly flat, I think about three small "hills" if you do a circuit. Rarely alone but never crowded in my experience. Recently an extreme odor of a decaying animal but that's new and won't last long. 4 stars normally but 2.5 stars at the moment because of the smell. Frisbee Gold course on the North/North East areas. The Prairie Spirit Trail runs along the West side and continues both North and South. There are no bathroom facilities on the North or West sides of the lake. If you bring a dog, HAVE IT ON LEASH and bring a bag and clean up after. There's trash cans frequently.

It's fun for a lot of things like goat cart races

Nice park. Well maintained. Will visit again.

This is a nice park. But it is fantastic during the second weekend of October when they hold the Lake Garnett Grand Prix Revival!
