(April 3, 2021, 5:11 pm)Beautiful big park on the edge of town. The playground is awesome for the little ones. There’s a frisbee golf course, sand volleyball court, and two different shelters (one completely enclosed).

I like the new playground they put in, not sure why they had to enclose it with fencing but it looks nice (not chain link).

The City of Atchison hereby solicits proposals from professional playground designers and suppliers for services and materials related to constructing an inclusive playground at Jackson Park in Atchison, Kansas. Playground equipment and surfacing shall be pursuant to all applicable regulations regarding the design and installation of play equipment, impact attenuating surfaces and accessibility.
