First Baptist Church-Augusta

Very welcoming and biblical messages every Sunday from the pulpit. They have so many welcoming adult Sunday school classes.

When we moved to Augusta We were invited to attend church here. We never looked back, we love first Baptist Church. It's a great place to grow in your walk with Christ. The message coming from the front and Sunday school. And our children absolutely love the youth group and all activities that take place. It’s a very family friendly church.

My family and I attended their service this morning. We really enjoyed it. The people were very friendly and I didnt feel like I was being judged. I got a warm welcoming feeling going in, it felt like that's where God wanted us to be. We will be going back there. Thank you all for being so welcoming.

I attended a funeral here. Nice church, very accommodating staff. Funeral was large so they opened a second room and broadcast the service. There were so many people, even with the 2nd room and chapel, people were standing. The staff ushered people into the choir area on stage to accommodate. Great service. I'm not a religious person but they didn't force religion during the service.

FBC Augusta has been my church home for the last 12 years and I cannot imagine going anywhere else! They have a great traditional service in the morning, a contemporary services at 11am and a great Sunday School hour in between. They have several Sunday School classes to choose from - each very inviting. FBC also has a solid children and youth ministry with a great pastoral staff behind each of them. FBC Pastoral staff are very active in the community and are very caring!
