Steph The Doula

Steph is the kindest doula around. She did a great job of providing support before, during, and after labor. I recall specifically difficult moments of labor that she was able to help me through — and thus my experience was everything I could have asked for. Highly recommend her!

Stephanie was amazing and knowledgeable. Throughout my pregnancy her and I met several times to discuss my birth plan and options that were available to me. Stephanie made sure I knew what my rights were as a patient and helped me navigate my questions to hospital staff to make sure I had the birth experience I wanted.
During my labor, she was comforting and continued to be a huge support person for my spouse and I. Although my body labored quickly and I live almost an hour away from her, she answered her phone with the first call around 4:00 am and was at the hospital around 5:00 am with a smile on her face! I would highly recommend Stephanie as a doula!

We hired Steph as our doula almost 8 weeks before my original due date. My husband and I choose her because she was knowledgeable, kind and seemed like a very calming presence. She assured us that even if our baby came early she would be available - which thank goodness because our baby girl came 2 weeks early! I started laboring Easter Sunday at 7:30am and Steph didn’t hesitate to get in her car and come to my house right away.
During my entire labor process (19 hours) Steph was there to encourage me, calm me and provide support. As I’ve told everyone - I am so blessed to have had Steph as our doula. I really couldn’t have done my labor without her. I would recommend Steph to any person looking for a doula - even if you’re questioning if you should get a doula (which I did), reach out and set up a consult with her. I promise you won’t regret it!!!

Steph was so wonderful to work with! She met with me 3 times ahead of our birth. She was always available to answer questions. Most appreciated, she was willing to be flexible in how she served our family when our entire birth plan rapidly changed. She was an invaluable help to us when we needed her! Highly recommend!
