Veteran's Park

It's a nice small park next to a fenced b- ball court.

This is a small park with tennis courts, basketball hoops, playground equipment, and flower gardens. It is well lit, and has a small parking area. I like to park here and then hike up to the University of Kansas campus.

One of our favorite parks! Has four basketball goals on a court, a full-size tennis court, beautiful history to the park if you take time to read the sign, located in the historic neighborhood plenty of room for the children to walk around and play. Pathways of beautiful flowers, water fountain in park bench. The surrounding neighborhood is gorgeous, the original oread house is within view of the park as worded on the plaque. We absolutely love Veterans Park!

Great place to practice your serve, well covered by the trees, not too much sunlight exposure.
