I've lost track of the number of times he's worked late or come in on his day off when I've had an automotive emergency. Don't be fooled by the shabby building or the yapping dogs--he's really good. My wife and I sometimes talk about moving to another town, and I always think, "But there won't be a Dave Reed there!"”

“I love this place. My son needed his meds. We changed insurance and all the updates were not in the computer yet. They worked with us and gave us a few days worth of his meds and then the insurance was updated and we picked up the rest. WOW! I was about speechless. I told my kids about insurance and how many people have to figure out if they can buy food or meds. That would have been one of those times if not for the help we got. Thank you. That was about a year or so ago and I have never bought another RX anyplace else.”

“Nice little laundry mat. Washers work well and they are cheap. 1.00 washer and dryers take about a 1.00. Hours are a little weird though. M-F 3-8, Saturday 9-8 sun. 10-8.”

“My son and I finally got around to trying this place. We have tried two other places here in Baldwin City, KS and we're very disappointed. The Salt Mine was a nice surprise and will get our continued business. The burger was cooked correctly, seasoned just right. it's nice to find a place that just does it right. No bragging. Just some good food. We will be back. And the A/C in this place works...no excuses. Try this place first.”

“We signed up for the dinner train as this was on my aunt's bucket list. So glad we did. Our kids loved the whole experience. The slow ride, friendly service, and eating on a moving train was fun family memories. Would like to experience the mystery train someday. Sadly will have to do so without my aunt because she has passed away.....but I know she will be with us in spirit.”
