I've lived here for almost two years. I had broken my thigh bone badly, and already being disabled I was just a big helpless baby. I couldn't even roll over in bed by myself.
The physical and occupational therapy team worked with me tirelessly. They babied me, praised me and bullied me . I not only learned to walk again, I lost a big chunk of weight and gained a whole lot of self confidence. And I can do so, so much more for myself than I could before I broke my femur. And I made a lot of friends with the aides here. And I am putting in application for independent living appartments!!
Great place! My Mom has been there for years. Very caring staff and the Director Marcus is a very kind compassionate person who is always striving to improve!
Don't judge a book by its cover. This place is not your newest construction with the fancy bistro diner and modern decor. All that fancy stuff is over rated because there is so much focus placed on those material things and not the care and attention a patient needs. I transferred my mom here from one of those high-end fancy facilities because she did not receive the care required. I am utterly impressed with the staff here. These people really do care about your loved one. There is plenty of staff always on hand to address my mom's needs promptly. Everyone is friendly, kind and is eager to help. They have that small home town feel. Family members are always there visiting, strangers will smile at you and say hi. The aids, nurses and physical therapist take the time to get to know the patient and build a relationship. My mom is very happy. I would highly recommend placing your loved one in the hands of these wonderful people. It is a peace of mind knowing they are properly cared for.
