Cub scout camp at Falley Scout Reservation. Has new facilities.
Camp Delaware is the northern part of Camp Jayhawk. As I understand it, Cub Scouts stay in this part of camp during the summer.
We camped in open fields with a good shelter with electricity, several water sources, a good bathroom complex and three pavilions.
The staff took us on a tour and explanation of the camp since it was new to us. The staff was friendly and inviting. The facilities were a mixture of good and ok. The trails were less developed than I expected.
We normally camp at the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation. Bartle is much larger with access to a significantly bigger body of water. Bartle strongly supports Mic-O-Say and offers some sort for Order of the Arrow, while Jayhawk strongly supports Order of the Arrow.
Jayhawk is a suitable camp to get out into the woods, and I am glad that Lawrence has this facility for their Boy Scouts.
