“Great community library!”

“I take back. Everything I said about village Villa. Some of the nursing staff are great. The others are argumentative and can't answer a simple question: " how much did my father eat for lunch"? It took them 20 minutes to answer that question. All they had to do is look at the meal book. I would not put my dog there.I give village villa no stars whatsoever. My father ultimately passed away at village villa. Near the end my father did not have much of an appetite and could not pick up the silverware. Hospice told the staff to not force him to eat but offer him food. So what did the staff do: they put his tray in front of him and did not offer him food. I watched this one time and that was enough!!!!!! My father could not even pick up hid silverware so the kitchen provided him w/ adaptive silverware. My father has since passed. VETERAN'S SHOULD NOT BE TREATED THE WAY MY FATHER WAS. That would include any elderly patient.”

“The owner is a super nice guy! Every time I go there he always remembers who I am. The other night I walked up there with a bucket of change (mostly pennies) and he counted it out and was super cool about it.”

“Oskaloosa High School is a small high school. But kids can learn a lot from a smaller high school like this one. The teachers are very nice.”

“Best location I have been to! There are actually employees that can help you find items. Other locations only have 1 employee on the register. Very clean. Stocked shelves!”

“Worth-the-drive destination. Adults will love the beautifully-simple landscaping with the native grasses, split-rail fences and the views of prairie, lake and sky. Kids could play forever in the old town setting. Jefferson County saved a bunch of houses and businesses from the 1800s and early 1900s and moved them together to make a little town from the past. Filmmakers should use this as a set. The old, high, wooden sidewalks are like big decks connecting the buildings. Even if it's closed, you can still look inside the buildings to see what an old doctor's office or what the old grocery or hardware store had in it. Plus there is a wonderful sculpture of a prairie wind wagon being swept up into a tornado. I love it there.”

“went here through preschool-kindergarten and though i don't remember much, i do have only found memories. In eighth grade now and the only "negative" memory i have was the computer lab teacher yelling at me for saying "that frog has a butt!"”

“The staff is always super friendly and helpful. They always offer to carry out your groceries. The place is kept pretty clean. They have a pretty good variety of food for the size of the store. The prices are higher than the big supermarkets, but not enough to make a trip to Topeka or Lawrence worth it.”
