Most magical stress free wedding day ever. When searching for a venue my husband and I toured Gather in February, when everything is dead and dry, but Emily made the place come alive for us so we could envision how great it be. Come wedding time in September it was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Emily and her team go above and beyond to make everything perfect for your wedding day and all you really have to do is show up. They do a wonderful job on floral arrangements and set up. There's no way I could have put together the beauty that they did. I will put this on here because it is the one and only thing that I worried about leading up to the wedding and that was the sound of traffic from the highway..Emily assured me nobody ever mentions it during weddings. Come wedding time she was so right I didn't hear the highway one time and nobody else mentioned it either, the joy of the day drowns it all out
This is by far the best outdoor venue in all of KC. Not only is the property stunning, but all the little touches (firepits, lighting, decor, etc) give it such a woodsy and cozy vibe! The layout, design choices and decor look like something out of a magazine! And if that's not enough, the owner (Emily) puts everything she has into each event that she hosts. She knows the importance of each wedding (or other event) and works herself ragged to ensure a magical experience for all her guests. If you're looking for a beautiful venue where you can get married amongst the trees, rocks and fresh air, then there is no better place in all of KC.
Provided some great BBQ for a wedding at the most beautiful wedding venue ever. If you are looking for a wonderfully cute place to tie the knot, this is the place for you. The owner and her staff bent over backwards to make this a special experience for the young couple getting married. Can't go wrong with this staff and venue. Great job!
My wife and I went to this venue for an old friend's wedding, and were astounded with how beautiful the property was. The small gazebo to the left as you walk down the cobblestone road was perfect for relaxing, drinking and talking with friends. The area set aside for the ceremony near a large tree was beautiful for our friends' wedding and the wooden frame that they got married in front of added such a cute memory to the wonderful day. We unfortunately experienced heavy rain during the ceremony, but the amenities as well as the bar staff made sure to keep the party alive. I would 100% recommend this venue for future weddings!
