  Mainly just tag along with a friend when he goes fishing. The lake is nice during the spring and summer. There are several different species of fish stocked. Trout, bass, bluegill, carp and a few others I believe. Around mid November is the best time to fish for trout here. They have paddle boat and canoo rentals. There are several shelters, usually one or two are empty/not reserved. Parking isn't usually a problem. There are several small streams that are good for swimming in privacy located around the park in the woods. Most of them are accessible by trail or short treck through the trees.

  Well done regional Park with fishing, picking, no motorized boating, hiking, biking, playgrounds all in a hill setting. Well maintained. Off season traffic indicates it's a popular place. Without a doubt I'll be visiting again.

  The park is wonderful, with an amazing lake. A great place for Walking, fishing, spending time with your dog, hiking. There some playgrounds all around the parks. Perfect place for outing with family……

  Very large park with lots of space for everyone. There isn't any camping allowed but the park does say that it's open 24/7. The paved trails are in great shape compared to other parks I've visited. That's saying something considering how many miles of trail there are! Trail wise there are also mountain bike trails but I didn't experience them this visit. The lake in the middle is very clean and scenic with many places to stop and take in the views. I saw signs for horse crossings so it looks like there are horse trails here too. There is even a pet friendly zone were they let you take your dogs off their leashes. Cool place fron what I saw during my first visit. Can't wait to go back with my mountain bike next time!

  What a wonderful park! We went for the big off-leash dog park that opens to the lake. We found so much more: picnic areas, docks, horseback riding trails, archery range, wheelchair accessible paved paths as well as other nature trails.
