I strongly recommend Cheryl Gilman, as she is very resourceful, kind, patient, intuitive, and just a fantastic midwife all-around. She was there to deliver both of my beautiful babies at home, and I could not have pictured anyone else delivering my babies but her. I wish could I rate Cheryl 10 stars.

We chose Cheryl as the midwife to assist in our second child's water, home-birth. We found her to be knowledgeable on birth as well as pregnancy health. She was very professional as well as friendly and communicated very well when she had to move my appointments because of other births. She prepared me very well for the birthing process. During the birth she was calm and supportive without being over-bearing. We are also very happy with her post-partum care. We would highly recommend her to anyone wanting a home birth.

Cheryl was our midwife. From the very beginning she was so kind and really made us feel comfortable. Her experience and knowledge gave us peace of mind. My husband was reluctant, and scared about the home birth process and Cheryl gave us great information and materials to help him feel that this was the right path for us. She continued to care for us and our growing baby and gave us the most amazing home birth experience with the help if her assistant Sarah and our Doula. Her post partum care has been amazing! You can truly see the love she has for her job and the families she cares for. We will forever be grateful for her and the birth of our first child and will use her for future pregnancies and births. She’s a permanent gift to our family!

Cheryl is amazing! I gave birth to my fourth at home with her and it was my best birth so far. She knowledgable and kind, with a calm assertive energy that not only makes her proactive in doing things but really empowers you as well. The prenatal and postpartum care was wonderful and I’d highly recommend her!

I made the choice to have a midwife assisted home birth and Cheryl was an amazing choice! She answered any question I had and always made sure baby and I were healthy. This was my first child and I will definitely be going back to Cheryl for future pregnancies. My labor came very unexpectedly but she let me stick with my home birth plan, and I'm so glad she did. Everything went beautifully, Cheryl and her assistant were very attentive to my needs and let me listen to my body. I had a great experience with Cheryl, and my home birth. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone looking for a different alternative to hospital birth/care.
