  My son played soccer here with Parks and Rec. Fields aren't very well marked so it was hard to find his.
  
  Outside of that though, Black Bob park has several nice amenities including batting cages and a community pool with a lazy river and slides.

  Good combination of equipment for all ages 1+ surrounded by a safe community and friendly people.

  Blackbob Bay water park - great for kids and yet can be very relaxing for even older adults (I enjoy the lazy river). The park is clean and seems to be utilized a lot by baseball and soccer teams. The home of the Olathe Farmer's Market on Saturday and Wednesday (which I wish brought many more vendors than it does) is very small but a good place to grab farm-fresh meats, eggs and seasonal vegetables.

  This has a nice walking trail, a children's playground, various sports fields and Blackbob Bay which is a great waterpark with slides, diving boards, an area for small children, zero depth entry and a lazy river. This is an inexpensive way to spend your day at the pool. You can purchase season passes, or pay as you go. Children under 2 is free. $6 per person for residents 3-61, $8 for non-residents and $3 for residents and non-residents ages 62 and up. They also offer birthday parties. I had one for my son's 5th birthday and it turned out excellent. Everyone had a great time.

  Farmer's market Saturday & Wednesday mornings until end of September. Some scheduled activities available, like group yoga & PoGo Community Days. Super fun!
