Painless car rental process start to finish.

Was easy booking a rental and had a wide variety of vehicles to choose from. Prices were comparable to other companies.

We did not have to wait for a shuttle at the airport or the car rental location. There was a shuttle waiting at airport and car rental location. The driver immediately took off when we boarded the bus. I would normally have to wait 20-30 minutes for a shuttle using other companies. The shuttle bus driver, Jonathan, was very friendly and courteous.

I used Accelerated Check-In and was able to go directly to the vehicle without having to go to the rental counter.

Would recommend Alamo and will be renting from there in the future.

When traveling we usually rent from Alamo and have overall had very good experiences but this time was exceptional. We had a contract for a full-size car probably a Chevy Malibu but we’re given a very nice Audi as an upgrade.

Although we only drove to our destination and back and did not do any other extra driving we enjoyed the car very much. The car was actually very new and had less than 3000 miles on it and all the bells and whistles.

We will certainly continue to wrap from Alamo in the future.

The shuttle at STL may not have been as prompt as I would have wanted, of course I probably just missed the last one, it was professionally and safety driven to the rental office.
At the rental desk the paperwork was whipped out in short order and I was on my way to the lot to select my car. Unfortunately, there was only ONE full-size car to choose from. Maybe I didn't the distractions of various colors or models. The Chevy Malibu is all I really needed.
Exit from the lot was painless.
Well-maintained vehicle provided everything I needed.
Return process was flawless.

We arrived in St. Louis at 11:25 PM on 6/19. I did not have a car reservation because I was not sure who was open that late. We were scheduled to return the next day with a different vendor. When we landed, I was able to determine Alamo was open until Midnight. So while my husband retrieved our luggage, I shuttled over to Alamo to rent a car. The location is a few miles from the airport. The young gentlemen that assisted me was so helpful. I cannot recall his name. I was able to rent a upgraded vehicle for almost the same price as the full size car from the other vendor. We landed in a Toyota Highlander which was perfect for our 12 day stay. The only issue was it smelled like smoke. Which is a shame because it only had about 7000k miles on it. We informed them and being that it was so late we just went and got some air fresheners. I really hope they charged whoever rented prior for that, as there are signs in the car NO SMOKING! I would highly recommend Alamo St. Louis Airport. We will be returning in the new year and will use this branch again. Thank you!
