There’s hardly a trail in Kansas that’s quite like the Indian Creek Trail, besides the connected Tomahawk Creek. The ICT allows you to bike at most 40 miles, going both ways from a location. The trail goes all the way from Leawood (though it connects to the Blue River trails in Missouri) to Hampton Park, in Olathe! If you are looking for bike trails to start off in the KC area, the ICT’s your best bet, considering the drive to the enormous Katy Trail is hours.
Nice walking trail with good shade. A average size playground. It has soccer net and baseball diamond.
Nice public trail for walks, runs or bikes. Passes by playgrounds, parks, schools and local neighborhood. Limited crossings at lights. There is a lovely creek running alongside most of the trail.
The trail is a great ride but is in great need of repair between 127th and Blackbob to the American Nazarene college. Actually that part needs to be torn out and totally redone it's been patched up so many times the bumps are ridiculous. That portion is a terrible ride.
Great walking trail in the middle of Johnson County. Perfect when you have some time to walk and need a quick stop off. Convenient parking area.
