  My Prius C4 showed the ‘replace battery pack’ code a couple of weeks ago. I took it to O’Reilly’s and it was confirmed. Then took it straight to Toyota, but didn’t get the work done there ($3,000). I also took it to another mechanic to make sure it wasn’t the electric motor or head gasket. I was nervous about spending so much money. After much online research (and cleaning the filter under the backseat) decided to replace the battery pack through Greentec Auto. When I. Called and spoke to John, he was extremely knowledgeable about hybrids and hybrid batteries. I even called and asked to speak to one of the mechanics that worked on my car, and he was very polite and informative in telling me all the things they checked first before replacing the battery. I placed the order for the battery, they built and installed it, and my car was back on the road and runs great again. The warrantee is also fantastic. I have peace of mind knowing that if anything goes wrong with the reconditioned battery the replacement process is quick. Thank you Greentec Auto for saving me $1,000 and for your excellent customer service!

  Bought a used Prius which had a green tec battery already in it. It lasted about 14 months from the original installation. Green tec honored the warranty transfer from the previous owner and they came to me and replaced it for free. This 2nd battery went out 4 months later, which was about a month after the original warranty expired.
  
  Given how recent the last one was replaced, I asked if they would switch it out anyway and they did immediately, without hassle. They're calling an "out of warranty exchange" which sounds like this is the last one I get.
  
  I suppose they don't have much incentive to install their best cells in near-end warranty fulfillments... So as a customer in the used hybrid battery market, I would think of a purchase not as being for the battery itself, but for the warranty, keeping in mind you might have to replace it a few times and without much expectation for it to last beyond that.

  The Olathe, KS location was great! I was worried that the large battery needed replaced on my 2005 Prius, but it was only the small one. They fixed it while I waited and checked other issues I was having, too. I highly recommend them.

  Extremely quick and very well priced. Had our new hybrid battery for a few months and is working great. Even have an awesome warranty!

  Best place to buy a hybrid battery! I wish I would've bought a battery here the first time! This company is very easy to work with!
