  I started at AKKA OP when I was 12 years old. I attained my 1st degree black belt 6 years later, and the journey is still something I talk about to this day. Not only did this martial arts program help me physically, but it taught me so many life lessons. Matt McDaniel is an incredible instructor, but even better person. If you are looking to put your child in a martial arts program, I cannot recommend this place enough. Not only will your child be in an amazing environment, they will be surrounded by tons of positive energy and incredible people!

  Mr. McDaniel is an amazing coach! The support teachers are awesome as well! My son has been attending for 7 years and has learned so much.

  Mr McDaniel is great with connecting with the kids! He is alway finding new ways on how to make it fun.. He also helps kids to learn how to focus and be respectful in a fun /learning environment. GREAT PLACE!! Highly recommend it!!!

  Matt McDaniel is an amazing teacher and role model for his students! I am glad my daughter got the opportunity to be in hia class and we hope to continue in the future! I highly recommend this school and especially the teacher!

I took my daughter in 2016 when she was 3, almost 4. She still says this is her favorite thing she did on the whole Disney World vacation and remembers it in such detail. I'm taking her back again on our next trip since it left such an impression with her.
