This is the best playground we’ve been to, and I’ve been taking my kids to parks for 13 years. We are so impressed by the entire park.
There are other smaller playgrounds besides the main large one near the clubhouse. One of them was a percussion/music area.
There were bathrooms (clean! Accessible!) open in January.
There are wide sidewalks. We saw dog walkers, joggers, and older people power walking.
This is an incredible park. We have a lot of parks in this town but this surpasses all others. If your child has no fear and tons of energy there is something for all ages. Wow just wow. Climb climb climb! Also has a kid friendly zip line.
Huge park to keep the kids and dogs entertained. There are smaller and larger kids areas with age appropriate slides and climbing equipment. Lots of seating areas in the shade to watch the kids. There is even a clubhouse with restrooms and a few pavilions with grills available for rent. On the other side of the clubhouse there are 8 new pickleball courts. Download the RideKC Bike app and enjoy a ride through the park
Came to this park for a picnic. The shelters are nicely set up. There are nice, paved walking trails, and the wetland scenery near the creek is beautiful. The playground spaces have good variety (musical instruments!), and the pickleball courts are great, too. Tends to get full at peak hours...
My 6 year old had a blast here. It is truly an amazing park and a great place for the kids to play. If you have never checked it out before, make a point to be there.
