(August 3, 2018, 7:05 pm)ASKC is a great place not just to learn martial arts. It's a great place for my daughter to participate in a physical activity that she has fun doing and learning. It's more than just a sport. She is learning self defense and self discipline, as well as respect for others and herself.
The staff is well educated and great at teaching not just martial arts, but so much more. They are so positive and create an environment that my daughter doesn't feel intimidated and she can succeed.
I highly recommend American Sport Karate Center. ☆☆☆☆☆ -

(July 25, 2018, 8:35 pm)Our son has benefited greatly from the training he has received since joining ASKC in 2015.
Physically, he has gained strength, flexibility and quickness from the training. Mentally, we can see a difference in his level of confidence and it is great seeing his sense of accomplishment when he learns something new, earns a new belt or does well in competition.
The instructors are all very knowledgeable and friendly (as long as the students are acting accordingly J). As the student progress they are given the opportunity to help instruct others below them in the belt progression which is beneficial for both students as well as builds comradery.
In addition to the karate classes for all ages from little kiddos to adults, they also offer an after school program that includes fitness, karate, snack, homework help AND if your kiddo attends one of the schools they service, it INCLUDES transportation from school to the karate center! During the summer they also have a fantastic summer camp program! They have a blast going to the zoo, pool, movies and even squeeze in some karate time.
We have definitely been pleased with the level of training and attention our son has received at ASKC. -

I really didn't think that karate was going to be her "thing" when she first began, but she loves it and has grown in so many ways thanks to Mr. Clifton, Miss Kim, and all the instructors and students. She earned her 1st degree black belt last fall and we really feel that ASKC is part of our family.

(July 12, 2018, 5:18 pm)My daughter has been going here since she was 3 and she's now 7 and we have had nothing but a positive experience. She went from being a very shy little 3 year old that cried to leave mommy's side for class to becoming a very confident strong young lady. She also attends the After School and Summer Camps and she absolutely loves it.
