  Like any mother's life, this past week has been crazy, both at the office and at home. On Friday, I picked my 17-month old son from La Petite as normal. I talked with the teacher about how my son's day was, as normal. She handed me some artwork he had done that day, as normal - although this artwork included a Mother's Day card. I didn't think anything of it until late that evening, after dealing with more craziness and finally putting my son to bed. I sat down for the first time in hours and noticed the card sitting on the table. I opened it, not expecting anything extraordinary. But inside the envelope was a darling card with flower petals glued on...and A CHOCOLATE BAR. (Best. Surprise. Gift. Ever.) I opened the card to see a photo of Max gluing the flower petals on (with his teacher's help) and a sweet little "I love you" message.
  
  That card just made my day.
  
  And that's my experience with this branch of La Petite Academy, every day. The teachers - especially my son's teachers: Ms. Jenna, Ms. Julie, and Ms. Cyd - are extraordinary in keeping him happy and healthy, in teaching him songs and his ABC's and 123's and animals and all sorts of things, in engaging him with games and art projects. It's hard and heart-breaking to work long hours at the office every weekday and leave the thing you love most behind, but it's a tiny bit easier when I know that my son is in such good hands. Ever since he started here at 3 months old, my experience with this particular La Petite has been outstanding. It is an extremely well-run school - bright, cheerful, attentive, clean and hands-on - with a staff that is caring and always - ALWAYS - doing what they can for the kids. Tara, the director, seems to be everywhere and to know everything (like any good mom), and when I've ever had a concern, she has gone above and beyond the call of duty to investigate and make sure things are set right. I truly appreciate all of that, and I am so grateful my son - and my daughter, who will join him at La Petite later this year! - have this school - and especially this amazing staff - in their lives.

  My children LOVE La Petite! They are both learning and growing developmentally and have made amazing friendships. They love their teachers who care about them as if they were their own children. We are so looking forward to our older son continuing to go to La Petite for before and after school care now that he is starting kindergarten so he can stay with his little sister who will remain at La Petite for many years to come.

  We have had our 2 year old at La Petite since she was a few months old. We love the staff there. They are very consistent with our daughter, and they communicate with us about her growth and development better than any of the handful of daycares we have used before. We are regularly surprised by how well the director is informed about our daughters growth and development. It is like she is in the classroom every day! We would recommend this daycare to anyone looking for attentive and caring people to help your little ones grow healthy and strong!

  This La Petite location is great. All of the staff are always very friendly and seem to really care about my child. This is my second child to attend this school. I highly recommend this location for anyone wanting to prepare their child for school. The structure and education program is great and they learn far more than what is required entering kindergarten. Great staff, great location and always very clean!

  My son Christopher has attended this La Petite Academy for 6 years. He started when he was two years old and has continued through to the school age program. Christopher was more than ready for Kindergarten when he started school. I was amazed at the quality of the curriculum and his teachers who were dedicated to his learning. He now enjoys the school age program where he has many friends to "hang out" with before and after school. In the summer and over long breaks the field trips make it extra fun. I highly recommend La Petite Academy to anyone looking for a place where your child can grow and learn for a long time!
