Shawnee Gardens Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center

Shawnee Gardens is a wonderful place to work. We have great caring staff in all of our departments who go above and beyond for our guest and seniors. We have an excellent Therapy team, an excellent Activities department who have our seniors engaged in daily activities and outings, wonderful staff in our dietary department and so much more. I have been a staff member for many years, My mother lived here at Shawnee Gardens for many years and was very well loved and taken care of. My daughter works here and has recently moved her way up to further her career. I love Shawnee Gardens and I could not ask for a better place to work.

Shawnee Gardens is a great place and has a team of wonderful staff that genuinely care for the residents. From the admin staff to the nursing department, everyone is great. There are numerous activities each day and quality resident care for each person. Each day the staff try to make a difference in the lives of many. They also have a strong team of therapy staff that work hard to reach resident goals. The dietary team prepares good, hot meals for the residents each day. I would recommend Shawnee Gardens for your family member and medical LTC needs.

My mom had good experience at Shawnee Gardens. She has progressed dementia and her health had suffered from severe over medication at another care home. In her four months at Shawnee Gardens, she regained her appetite, gained weight, reestablished her ability to walk and even made friends (this was far beyond our expectations and even our hopes.) The staff made sure she was looked after down to little details- the nurses are kind, the cna and cma's took great care, even the food staff gave mom special attention. It isn't a perfect place, but the people here gave my mom another chance at life and I will always be grateful to them.
