“Mike is an odd bird, but is an impeccable gunsmith and expert on gun restoration. I have seen him take boxes of loose disassembled parts and convert them into beautiful works of art. I am very happy to recommend him and I refer customers to him often. He is especially skilled in the art of making parts that are no longer available. He also does fine machining, bluing and refinishing work. He keeps odd hours, so give him a call to make sure when he will be open to meet you. He works on guns the other days and does not permit customer to interrupt him while doing so. This is not personal, and he does this to assure his full attention is given to each job. The owner who attended me at the North Oak store was a delightful man, and I am so happy to have found a Hyla store in my area.
