“Absolutely wonderful people. We take our daughter here for a guided music group for tots. Through this class, my daughter gets the benefits of socialization with a regular group of peers, which is hard to come by without daycare. The structure provided by our speech pathologist and occupational therapist really facilitates an environment where children can happily learn through play. Above all, you can really tell that they make a fantastic effort to get to know each child and parent as individuals. Whatever your child is -- shy, social, energetic, afraid -- they are equipped to deal with it. Your child will NEVER be left out, because they find a way to make sure that each child is included in the play, even if they have to modify the parameters to make that happen. This is a wonderful place to take your children, and they will treat them like their own!!”

“Erin teaches the baby class (8 weeks and older) my daughter and I attend. We love it! I tell all my friends with newborns to sign up. A parent joins the baby in the water and you do gentle moves and sing songs and have a wonderful bonding experience. I sing some of the songs while changing diapers and my baby smiles so big. We love our weekly swim date!”

“LOVE this place! The staff is awesome, the director, Dawn, is dedicated to the children, and my kids feel loved and welcomed every day. I have had students from toddler-school age here and all of them have had an incredible experience. I have had multiple foster children and I wouldn't send them anywhere else. They really understand the specific needs of my kids. Due to their past, many of the kids I have sent here have behavioral needs, as a special education teacher myself, I can say that the staff does an incredible job of using positive behavioral supports as well as redirection when there is an issue. They love my kids, but also hold the accountable and help them grow. They always inform me of what is going on and I feel completely safe when I leave my vulnerable kids. It is very hard for my kids to attach to people because of their past, but they absolutely love going to daycare!”

We've seen our children become more social as well as more educationally developed since attending Fleet Early Learning station. Tara and her team have structured a curriculum at every level which fosters growth, development, creativity and fun. At Fleet, it truly feels like no detail has been missed. Not only do they offer wonderful care to our children, they also provide several fun activities. They offer everything from “Gym Bus” on Mondays, “Tasty Tuesdays” where you can order Mr. Goodcents takeout; fun holiday activities such as a Halloween “parade” through the halls of the center and Christmas programs. “I can’t praise this place enough. I stayed home with my son for almost a full year, and I was worried he’d be behind when he went to kindergarten. The amount he learned in even just the first few weeks when I enrolled him at Canterbury was amazing. He loves it there, and the staff - from the director down - is phenomenal. They’re so giving and patient and kind. I’m so very, very, very grateful I started my boy here. Aside from the amazing staff, the building always looks so clean, the class size is great (I don’t have to worry about my son being lost in a sea of kids!), and they do fun activities throughout the year (in January they’re even doing a spirit week) that helps to make Canterbury feel more like a second home than a daycare/school. I’ve never once been hesitant or concerned about my son’s safety, or even if he’s having a good time or not. He always has a wonderful day, and it helps me go to work with peace of mind!”
