“Leslie does a fantastic job of engaging and challenging her students! She works with students at their own pace. She also encourages them to take advantage of various performance opportunities to build confidence, and ensures that they are well prepared.”

“Went here for middle school and generally had a good time, and made a few friends. students and staff were for the most part friendly. The building and track could use some work.”

“We first sent our daughter to a chain daycare. We were constantly getting calls that she had a fever and had to get her and stay home the next day. She never had a fever when we got her home or after. We chose to search for a new daycare, and found Open Minds (main location - Olathe). This place has been a blessing. Not only are they cheaper than the chain daycare was, but they actually treat my child as if she were their own. From the owners to the folks that clean at the end of the day, they all know my daughters name and always greet us with a smile and give a "have a good night" at the end of the day. They follow a set curriculum that give the children a good routine while also allowing them to be creative, and just be kids. The teachers and co-teachers are great, as well as all of the support staff. My daughter is excited to go to "school" every morning because she gets to see her teachers and friends. My family is actually moving next month, and when my husband toured daycares to select one, he knew the standard was that they need to be like Open Minds. If you are looking for a daycare that you can be comfortable dropping your kiddo off at while you are at work, look no further, Open Minds is the place to go.”

“Course is nicely laid out. Probably take a couple times through to make a decent score. Greens were spotty in places but rolled nicely. Visually fun course.”

“Drop off/pick up can get backed up at times but that's really my only gripe. The staff are all great here. Super friendly and willing to go the extra mile for you or you little one(s).”

“I saw some of my classmates writing responses, so I decided to make one too. I would like to say that Oxford isn't the best school, but I guess there isn't many other good ones out there. Many of the teachers are great, and the staff is kind. I gave this a 5-star because I believe that the Oxford kids are the best, and I have made a lot of new friends here. Still, I can't wait to get outta here...”

“Over the 17 year span our four children there we've always been impressed with school and staff. Things have changed over the years: some for the better, like enlarging school and with better security; and some not for the better, like reduced funding and very strange parking and traffic flow for pick up and drop off. The school as a school I do give high marks. Teachers are outstanding and genuinely care about your child. Class size is about 18-20 kids. The outdoor play areas are well maintained as well as all the indoor facilities. The school as a meeting location I don't give as high marks. The ability to schedule is frustrating and many dates are blocked out as a possible date holder but later free up. So you need to keep checking. You may not cook anywhere in the building. So our previously allowed fund raiser with scouting having pancakes could no longer be performed at the school. Also when you book facilities you also need to hire a school monitor in addition to janitorial staff. It's just confusing as you get quoted one rate, then other items get added just when you book the event. One last item: often evening sessions are uncomfortable as the air conditioning system is reduced. We often had to located a staff person to get the A/C turned back up. All in all a great school, nice building with a very secure and safe area for the children.”
