I checked Groupon, and I read a lot of online reviews of salons close to his home. When I called Timothy Weber: A Hair Salon, I noticed immediately that the receptionist was kinder than several others that I had called. Fortunately, they had an available appointment that afternoon for a 60-minute deep tissue massage with Emily. I booked it, paid for it over the phone (including the tip), and then text my boyfriend the details. He is actually at PTA and a LMT, and he said that the massage with Emily was definitely better than most, and that he would certainly go back. Though I only encountered the salon on the phone, I am appreciative of the respect and demeanor of the team, as well as quality of service based on the feedback from my boyfriend.”

“I enjoy going to the Gents Place every 3-4 weeks for a haircut, massage and hand waxing. The staff there is very professional and attentive to your needs. They offer shoe shine service, an elegant waiting area with a bar and pool table, massagea and straight razor shaves. A small thing, but something I especially like is that when they cut your hair, they use a straight razor on the back of your neck. Not many places do that anymore. I highly recommend the Gents Place.”

“People kept walking in and out of the quiet area prior to your service where you soak your feet. Someone even washed their hands in the sink in this room. Not very relaxing. My masseuse did a decent job. Not the trigger point therapy I came in for or stated I needed on the questionnaire. For the price I wouldn't return. If you like a gentle massage then you'll love it. Also there was a fan blowing on my feet and legs the entire massage. My feet were like icicles! I did love the smell in the spa, the ocean sounds, and the low light flickering candles.”

For me to stick with the same place is very rare as I have naturally curley hair and someone always seems to cut my hair wrong and turn it into a frizzball. I tried it and it helps a lot with my back problems. Since she has moved to this location there was some problems with the front office staff. Though they cleared it all up and haven’t had a bad appointment ever. If you have sore or pains you should really look into getting a medicinal massage done. Though book ahead of you want Debbie her schedule gets full quickly!!”

Little did I know that I would end up joining the membership program and going back once a month - sometimes more to have Jessica help me manage my hormonal adult acne. I look forward to my monthly appointments with Jessica, because she truly does take her time to analyze my skin and see what it needs that day. She also knows her stuff. She researches products for me and helps me better understand what my skin is trying to tell me. I also love that she never pushes product on me and listens to my goals to be as holistic as possible. While the membership program was not something I was sure I would financially be able to keep doing, I am so glad I have invested in it. I budget for doing brows and occasional services as it is - the program just helps me save a little money and keep consistent with my regimen. So, what are you waiting for?! Do a little something for yourself this month, or every month and make sure to ask for Jessica (except for on Mondays in the evening because that’s when I see her)!”
