“Nice little Diner food was as expected. Chicken strip were average. Onion rings were great and the Ice cream cone were already surprise. Reminded me of the home made ice cream I had as a child. My husband had a cheese burger he said was excellent.”

“Great Lake / state park for camping and fishing. Water was shut off on October 17th, 2022 but the Marina campsites have water and electricity hookups all year round. Your odds of fishing are higher if you’re on a boat but bank fishing is doable as well if you’re using surf rods and waders. There’s a good variety of species from: Wipers, white bass, catfish, walleye, large mouth bass, crappie, etc. The campsites usually get reserved rather quickly, so if you see an open date, book it! Cabins are available for reservations too. There are two stores / bait shops at the park: one at the marina (O Brien’s) and at the west entrance of the park.”

“We camped here on our cross country trip from Michigan to Albuquerque. We were the only people in the Harding Hill campground which is tent camping only. Vehicles are not allowed on the grass. We were not sure if you park alongside the road? The wind blew all night long, I’m not sure if that was because of hurricane Ian? This is supposed to be the best sailing like in the US.”

“Finally had a chance to check out the Outpost this morning and I was so impressed!!! The store has absolutely everything you could possibly want or need and then some. They have a great selection of beers and seltzers. I stopped by the cafe and ordered biscuits and gravy and a mimosa to go and WOW!!!! The biscuit was fluffy and delicious and the gravy is honestly the best I’ve ever had (sorry mom) Great flavor and lots of sausage….paired nicely with the mimosa! Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. I’m already looking forward to breakfast tomorrow.”

“Loved working here (hatch milling) my boss Wayne was fun and a good man he was a great mentor. I left in I dont know maybe 2007 to move to tx but still talk about my time there I was there for the shift to organic and was well received. Hell even had one of our race horse buyers come by to tell me personally that his feed was great looking. When I left I had an office and was in charge of a lot of the processes and only after 2 years. They appreciate hard work.”
