The food is amazing here and worth every penny. I am pretty sure everything is made from scratch including their dressings and desserts. You also get large portions so make sure you come with an empty belly and a large appetite. I definitely recommend for a special trip or dinner.
The smoked prime rib and sides were amazing!! Love the atmosphere and the waitstaff was on point. Also, make sure you get dessert-there’s no wrong choice on which you get!! Carrot cake is delicious, as well as the death by chocolate!!
I stopped in here back in early July while on my road trip heading west. This was my first time in the state, I was recommended by those who make the drive from east to west to blow through Kansas, but I wanted to check it out and Marion was where we ended up stopping that night. Walked into Parlour 1886 and was very pleased! I the atmosphere was amazing, our waitress and what seemed to be a manager walking around were so sweet and we had great conversation about the hotel and the town itself. I got the chicken cutlet sandwich and it was 10/10! I can't wait to stop off in Marion again the next time I'm headed that way!
