(November 22, 2021, 11:38 am)I visited this Church of the Brethren for the funeral of my wonderful Great Aunt. This had been her church during the many years she lived in McPherson. The pastors were incredibly welcoming, the service was wonderful, and the building itself is beautiful! I’m sad that I live so far away as to probably me prevent me from having a chance to visit this church again because I have a feeling that it would be a very meaningful place to worship.

A service church with its origins in Germany in 1708, the first Brethren sailed to the U.S. to find religious freedom. The Church of the Brethren is a recognized "peace church", and it has many ministries with New Testament pacifism as their goal.
