Dacus Towing & Recovery

Don’t bother calling any one else ! The customer service I received was amazing ! They made my bad situation a positive one and took really good care of me and my vehicle! Highly recommend! Price was fair also!

I had an issue with a towing done by this company. My car was stuck on mud and with the maneuvers used to pull me out of it the front bumper suffered some damages. The owner, Chris Dacus, reached out to me first thing on a Monday following the weekend of the incident. Chris was professional and very courteous and asked me to come to his shop to take a look of my car. His entire staff received me with so much professionalism and a phenomenal attitude, Chris not only looked at my car but he also gave me a tour around his shop which was the best one have ever seen out of all the collision shops I have seen in the past. His welcoming and sincere will to make me happy and fix my car totally blew my mind. Chris is a person with a sincere selfless and professional attitude and had such of integrity I have never seen not even in the Army where I served for several years. My car was fixed, he personally took care of it and even gave me touch up paint for future use, he also checked and fixed the wheel alignment, all at no cost. I would give Chris and his business a 10 star review if I could but I will absolutely recommend this business for towing or collision repairs to everyone. If you are looking for an honest and great service, this is the place to go. Chris thank you for all you did for us.

Dacus was a life saver today. They arrived 5 minutes before there estimated time and were extremely polite and courteous. They even allowed us to have our two small dogs in the cab while hauling our vehicle back to town.

WARNING - I am going to bash on AAA and give lots of love to Dacus!!! (I wish I could rate them 6 stars)
My truck broke down about 15 miles south of McPherson, KS. I have AAA and called them. I gave them both my GPS coordinates and mile marker number I was located at on North I-135. They indicated a tow truck would be dispatched within an hour. I called AAA 2 hours after the initial call to confirm they had someone coming. They indicated I had been elevated to a top priority and a tow truck would be there within 20 minutes. Guess what? - another 45 minutes goes by and no tow truck. I called AAA again. they indicated the tow truck had already done their pick up and this order was closed. Obviously it was not, because I was still sitting on the side of the road. AAA said the towing company had done the pickup in California and it was complete. I asked them how they could make a mistake with GPS coordinates and a physical description of the Interstate with mile marker. The customer service rep passed me on to a supervisor who did not have a good answer but indicated they would start another pick up. Extremely frustrated at this point, AAA indicated it would be approximately 3-4 hours before a tow truck could arrive!!! Are you kidding me? At this point I googled tow trucks near me and Dacus came up (along with 5 star review). They said they would be at my location within 20 minutes. They actually arrived in 15 minutes. The driver was extremely courteous and even let our two small dogs ride in the cab of the tow truck. He then dropped my vehicle off at the dealership and dropped me and my wife off at our house. Needless to say I will be cancelling my AAA member ship and if I am within 100 miles of McPherson, KS and need a tow, I will be calling Dacus. What a fantastic team and great customer service.

Our truck was towed to Dacus when it broke down. Abby was so helpful and kind! She helped me to get pricing on towing it to home (we live in KC) and even helped recommend places that may have a trailer we could rent, if we wanted to tow it back ourselves. She listened to my needs, and gave me excellent customer service! If you have any towing or other roadside service needs, call Dacus, they will take care of you!

I recently got my vehicle stuck about a mile down a dirt road the day after a rain storm. Daniel at Dacus was incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient, plus we had a great time slipping and sliding in the mud on the way out to where I had abandoned the vehicle. Definitely worth the cost, as the other option was to simply wait for the mud to dry out before trying to drive the car out. 10/10 value as well as experience. They made the whole experience stress-free and fun!
