“Love this place! Worked here in the dorm many years ago and again in the school more recently. I saw miracles happen here. Kids that were never supposed to talk speaking their first words in their teenage years. Progressing to full sentences to communicate! I saw young people with severe anxiety over come their fears and return home instead of going to a long term adult institution. I've seen it happen over and over again at Lakemary, young people doing the things they were told would never happen. The school went above and beyond with a team to work towards each Childs individual needs. As a staff, I did experience injuries and my superiors were always considerate and very concerned, regardless of the severity. I saw young people treated kindly and with respect. This is a beautiful campus with some of the biggest hearts I've known. They lead with servant leadership. You can see the fruit of decades of nuns prayers when you enter Lakemary.”
