St John the Evangelist's Catholic Church, Clonmel

My family and I attended St. John’s all throughout my childhood. I was baptized here, received my First Communion, and even my Confirmation. I’ve been to weddings, funerals, and rosary’s here. It’s a small church, but always felt like a second home. My siblings and I attended CCD and my nieces and nephews do now. I no longer live in the area, but I do recommend St. John’s. The people become like family and welcome newcomers with open arms.

As for the church house, it’s adorable. I’ve never seen another one like it, but I love it 😊.

Our family visited this parish on April 7th and we were immediately drawn to it! The congregation was full of young families. It had a close knit country feel. We went over for donuts after mass and visited with a few families. My husband and I left there with the same thought... we love it here!! If only it weren't an hour from our home. 🙁 I haven't been able to stop thinking about how we felt there. We will definitely visit as often as possible and move that direction in the next few years.

It felt very traditional here....I liked that. But the congregation does not seem welcoming to outsiders.

St John's is a wonderful parish focused on the Word of God and the teachings of Jesus Christ. A very welcoming church!
