My wife saw Keeter ad on TV, and after seeing it a few times, she suggested we call them. Nicki answers the phone and has been excellent throughout the entire process. We live about 80-90 miles from their office, and wondered if they would even come out here to discuss our roof and guttering. Not only did they come to our house, but they were here a long time answering all our questions and discussing possibilities. Mr. Keeter made us feel like we were his only customer.
In looking at the other reviews, I really don't have much to add. The Keeter experience was fast, pleasant, no surprises, good pricing, great workers, top notch workmanship.
Like Pamela Webb's review, Daryn and his team were top notch. We quickly received his estimate, no haggling needed. His crew was professional and friendly, and very hard working. Daryn and his foreman were there all the time. There was just nothing for us to worry about.
We needed more decking on the roof than expected and they repaired all of it - for no extra charge! The guttering is also excellent and better than we expected due to Daryn's suggestions.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that they are top notch and we highly recommend this company.
Great experience with Keeter Roofing, called for a quote and Daryn was out the next day. Roofing project completed and I don't feel over charged. A very friendly business and eager to please. Highly recommended. Can't wait to
We had a great experience with Keeter Roofing and Remodeling for a full siding replacement and painting with James Hardy fiber cement. I met with 4 companies for quotes, including 2 of the biggest ones in Wichita. I went with Keeter because the owner comes and does the quotes himself rather than sending a salesperson, and is very upfront and honest about costs and what he expects to go well or where he sees some potential issues on a house. He put his name in the business title, so you can expect pride in the work and high quality. The salespeople I met with for other companies tried to suggestive sell me new gutters and new windows before we could even talk siding, and then they told me what product I should want for siding. Keeter was also the only company that wanted to work with James Hardy brand, our original preference.
The Keeter crews for both the siding and painting were highly skilled. Our house is 70 years old and did some shifting on the foundation over the years. We also have a less than perfect addition the previous owners built. The siding crew did a great job making walls and corners look straight and added some extra care on some of the trouble spots where some crews would have just done a decent job. They even fixed some of our roof flashing. Now, people are slowing down on foot and in their cars to look at our house, and we are getting compliments from all the neighbors.
Hardy siding and trim looks great and there are almost no visible nail holes. The other companies I met with tried to talk me out of Hardy, pushing either LP Smart siding or insulated vinyl. I considered both products and did a lot of online research and went and looked at some houses with different types of siding. A lot of people install Hardy themselves or hire someone who cuts corners, and then the product will fail. You can find negative reviews online for Hardy siding, but contractors who know how to handle it swear by it as a top product. Hardy requires special tools and is a slower, tougher install. To a contractor, LP Smart Side and vinyl are quicker, easier installs. They can fit more jobs in during the year and get a better profit margin, but those benefits don't help you as a customer or homeowner, so companies who don't want to work with Hardy will tell you all types of negatives about it. That can get confusing! Ultimately, we liked the look of Hardy and felt best about it for our house since it remains a top seller in America, so we went with Keeter and are glad we did. Within a week of getting the Hardy siding installed, there were 5 earthquakes in Wichita, up to 3.9. The product still looks brand new- so much for what one salesman told me about Hardy being too brittle to survive even a little shaking!
From start to finish, Daryn and his team were top notch. In considering partial or full siding replacement, Daryn provided up-front pricing options for each while explaining the JamesHardie product installation and warranty information. His offer beat the competition without any haggling. He was motivated to provide quality and value, and his team delivered on the expectations. Daryn was responsive throughout the process, even checking in on the job multiple times during install. Daryn's install crew were professional, courteous, and kept the job site tidy all while finishing a full house replacement in under 3 days. The transformation of my house has been amazing, I am extremely happy with the results.
Not all companies deliver like Keeter. For comparison, another house in the neighborhood is installing vinyl siding replacement. The product sat in the driveway for a week in rain and snow before the job started, workers are unprofessional and discourteous to the neighborhood, and at day 5 only about a third of the house is complete. Also, a family member recently had their home bid by a well-known vinyl siding company. The company made suggestions on how they wanted to do the job without listening to the needs of the homeowner. Also, their first offer for the job had a 48% mark-up from their second offer. Luckily, they did not make the mistake of going with a company who is not customer-focused.
Overall, it has been a great experience working with Daryn and his team. If you are looking for a company to install quality products in a professional manner at a great value, you need to choose Keeter Roofing & Remodeling.
I recently switch insurances and the underwriter for my house insurance wanted to have a few things fixed. Daryn came out, recommended by my new agent, to see what needed done. He was kind, friendly, and professional. He said he could fix what was wrong and a few other hail spots on my siding....for NOTHING. Yes, nothing. That brought me to tears. As a teacher and widow, thing get tough and he eased that worry for me. I really am blessed by this company and the work that will be done. Thank you!
