(June 21, 2020, 4:38 pm)I usually go to the DAV on Central & Edgemore, but the people there were always so rude until recently so at least that's a good thing...but I could never really find much that I liked. Anyway, I went to this DAV on GW Blvd for the first time the other day and was pleasantly surprised! I couldn't believe how great the prices were and I also found some ladies clothing items that looked like they had barely been worn, and on top of that, the the clothing items were nice brand name clothing (not that I really care so much about brand names), but still, it's nice to buy a pair of Casual Corner nice looking pumps for .95 cents and a Ann Taylor LOFT blouse that looked brand new for $1.50. I also found a White House, Black Market dress and some Franco Sarto (Dilliard's brand I think) shoes for a couple of dollars. I feel like this place is a hidden gem. I almost didn't want to give this review because I didn't want to let the secret out about this place, Lol! but I want everyone to know how great this place is. Oh...and on top of all that, the staff were super friendly. They even waited patiently until I could gather all my stuff up to leave, even though they had already closed a few minutes before that. I definitely recommend this DAV store, especially for all you women fashionista's! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this store!!!

(June 15, 2019, 10:56 pm)Other than the extremely slow checkout, not a bad little place. The prices are certainly better than GoodWill from what I saw. A lot of different items available. The place is small and can be pretty snug to navigate if you are in a wheelchair or on a walker.
