(March 14, 2020, 8:51 pm)My daughter chose to take a group of friends to see the lights at Christmas time for her birthday.....it was beautiful! This was a first time for many of us. Other than the crowd that made it hard to maneuver around freely, it was a wonderful experience that we would like to do again.
(March 2, 2020, 4:14 pm)Wichita botanical gardens are a great way to spend an afternoon. In the spring it's colored with bright flowers and has winding paths that offer a bit of isolation from other patrons. In the winter months it is decorated with thousands of lights to celebrate the holidays.
(January 14, 2020, 12:58 pm)Wonderfully beautiful gardens! Impeccably maintained. A great spot for a date or to take kids to. There's a decent size Children's Garden with outdoor musical equipment they can play with. There's also a little cafe in the middle that has hot drinks and snack foods. They change the appearance every season so it's worth visiting more than once!
(January 4, 2020, 11:50 pm)There were lots of older displays but there were many new ones that were beautiful. If you like rock music then go, if not plug your ears! More traditional Christmas music would have really enhanced the displays better than the rock music. $13 for non member adults to get into Botanica. There were many food trucks and hot drinks available through out the gardens. The new carousel from Joy Land is running inside a new enclosed building and has the same great music as at Joy Land. It's a photographer's dream land!
