Slate Creek Lodge Bed and Breakfast

100% The most comfortable and amazing people we have ever met!! They took care of us after an incident with my car. So glad that we were stranded in this little town. We would have never stopped otherwise.

great place to stay especially for large groups if any of you run a business you no someone will try to find thing wrong like some others but i travel a lot and it is at top of my list to stay. beautiful lake fishing lots of room Diana and Bill are great and courteous people

Overall this is a nice getaway for medium parties of about 50 people. It comfortably sleeps 14 with plenty of floor space for additional overnighters. With a quaint view of a large pond through a glass wall/doors this place will make you feel far away from the crowds. Minor pest issues and deck construction are the only reason I did not award 5-stars... Do expect a decent price on renting it though.

My dad owns the property, but I live in San Diego. I love to visit. It is an amazing house and a beautiful property. Very quiet but the is so much space to host large parties of events.

The location is off the beaten path in Wellington Ks. The Lodge is accessed via a gravel road. There are 4 bedrooms for guests to stay in. There is a master suite with a jacuzzi and queen size bed. Then the other 3 rooms have a queen and 2 twin size beds. The lodge has two large spaces indoors. One of which opens out into a large grassy area infront of a pond. The upstairs space has a kitchen and access to a porch. The owners are very nice. They are a perfect location for a large family get together or a country wedding. The indoor spaces are very versatile and can be decorated to fit a theme easily.
