Key didn't unlock the tailgate on my truck. Jim's quickly got the key & lock working again, & cut a new key. No charge! Friendly, service is excellent. Not a mobile locksmith answering service, call Jim's :)

I've always had exceptional service from Jim's Lock and Safe. Their prices are more than fair for services like moving safes and changing locks to different keys.

My car key, with a transponder, broke. I tried going going to two large home improvement stores. One store actually had the blank and cut the key. It was about $82. I took it to my car and it would not start my car. I returned the defective key, and the nice lady at the customer service desk told me to wait until the morning and call Jim's Lock & Safe Service. I called the next morning, and they had the blank in stock, and I was told to come down. I was very pleasantly surprised that at Jim's, the key was about $8 cheaper. There was a slight hiccup because the key started my car 3 X, and then it wouldn't work. I called them back, and I spoke with Jim. He said to head on back to get the key fixed.I was only about 10 minutes away, and he personally fixed my new key, AND he managed to band-aid my broken key. (NOT LITERALLY). I got fantastic customer service, and I noticed that all of the cool, specialty keys were at least $1 cheaper, and some were $2 cheaper than the home improvement store that I normally get my keys cut. He had A LOT of really cool looking blanks. If you need any kind of key made, I 💯 recommend coming to Jim's. Next time that I need a new key, I will definitely be back.
