I have used Markwell's for the past couple of years and they are very friendly and helpful. The summer sausage is awesome, as is the breakfast sausage. Paul is a pleasure to deal with and has made accommodations for me to make sure I get my deer back before I have to travel. I may have to pay a small priority fee for faster turn around, but it is well worth it. His rule is, don't abuse it, which only makes sense. I highly recommend them.
Absolutely the best processing establishment available . Superior tasting custom cuts such as the cheeseburger and summer sausage just can't be compared to with any other establishment. The taste alone will make you rethink why you ever went to another processor. These fine gentlemen and ladies will make your hard work in the field pay off in the kitchen... 10/10
The last three years have been very unpredictable. One thing I can say for sure that has been predictable would be anytime I have ever dropped off my dear for processing to Mark Wells. They have always done an excellent job every time. Thank you so much for taking care of my deer processing
Was our first time using this place and we are beyond impressed with the meat from our deer we had taken there. Very professional and clean facility. We got bologna, summer sausage and salami. I have never tasted something so yummy! I am anxious to try the breakfast deer sausage we got also but I am sure it will be delicious!
I've used Markwell's for six years in a row before I wrote a review and the bottom line is quality. I've hunted all over North America and had my game meat processed in Alaska, Colorado, Utah and Iowa, but was never happier than when I got it done at Markwell's. We are especially happy with their summer sausage. I would give them four stars, because I don't normally think anyone is perfect. I gave them five stars, because they are also Hunters for the Hungry processor, which is very important to me and so many other people in the Commonwealth. Thank you for what you do and I am bringing you another good buck tomorrow morning because you're Euro mounts are damn good for the money and of course - I like the way y'all process my game meat.
