Chef Hip E’s Cocina Loca

We had such a great experience at Chef Hip E's. The food was so far beyond what I expected. The Gnarly Marley is seriously one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! My husband got the burrito with the drunken pork, and it came smothered in green chili sauce and crema. Just amazing! A taste explosion in every bite. The portions were huge and the service fast and friendly. We ate dinner in the shade at a picnic table, and brought our own cooler with us, since the General Store had closed at 6. They had good music playing (older rock) and the vibe was very chill. We will definitely be back!

A fun and uniquely delicious destination in Rabbit Hash! Friendly and lively staff, with some great looking food. I just had "The Steph" and loved it! Nice location on the Ohio River with lots of picnic tables, right in the center of "town". I'd say check it out.

Best local grub you can get! Hands down tacos are the bomb and the sandwiches are out of this world.
Chef Hip E himself is one of the most down to earth people too. Talking with the fellas while they cook doesn’t get more personal than that. Come see them!

I'm not surprised to see all five star reviews! We stumbled upon this gem by accident today. Everything we got was excellent! Fresh, chunky guacamole and chips to start. I had a sandwich called the Gnarley Marley which pictures don't do justice! Melt in your mouth pork, candied bacon, slaw, crispy onions, jalapenos, pickles and secret sauce. OMG this was like finding a Michelin star restaurant in the Kentucky hills.

Awesome experience here today. Sandwich was top notch I'm very picky about coleslaw and this was the bees knees pork was super right amount of BBQ sauce I'll be back for sure!
