One the best montessori in colleyville. My 6 yr old graduated from this Montessori. He had so much fun there he miss his teachers and friends. I am proud parent that my son got tested and got 2 grade level in maths and reading all because of his teacher Fehmina Merchant . She is such an amazing teacher . Work on kids and put her100% on all kids . The Admin and director of schools is very caring and nice and kind towards all parents and their staff.
During the pandemic I had my 2nd child, as a mother it was very scary/different so due to that I decided to stay home w/my baby until I felt comfortable to put her in a school or daycare. At 17 month old, I had the opportunity to enroll her at Colleyville Montessori and all I can say is that it has been the greatest decision. Since day 1 we were very welcomed and Ms Dee (toddler 1 teacher) took the time to ask me all about my daughter (likes, dislikes, routines, etc.) which to me it meant a lot because I could tell she wanted to make her feel comfortable. Yes, she cried for 1-2 weeks but now when we arrive to the parking lot she gets super excited so to me that means that she enjoys it. She has been eating much more and things she will not normally eat at home (peer pressure watching other classmates), she takes a 2-2 1/2hr nap (on her own, no patting) something she does not really do at home, she is talking and singing much more, she is being more independent like she knows how to hold her spoon (not perfect yet), she rolls towels at home, etc. Also, I love the fact of being able to watch her on cameras and to be sent her daily reports and pictures. With all that said I can say that if you have the opportunity to enroll your baby/child at this school you will not regret it!
My 9 month-old child has been attending the Colleyville Montessori school for 5 months now and I only have wonderful things to say. What are the odds of loving the entire staff and truly feeling like they are partners when it comes to taking care of your child. The infant teachers are loving and caring and I trust them so much. They always keep me updated on how My baby is doing and are accessible to any questions or requests. I also really appreciate all the directors do and how they have handled safety during COVID-19. Thank you for everything!
We have been with Colleyville Montessori since 2016, and we have loved every moment of our time there. Over the past 5 years, we have had 3 Directors (the first left shortly after we started), and the two previous left on good terms that we know of (the second move to be with family). The current director (Mary) is fantastic. With three different kids, we have been in all of the classrooms (infant, toddler, and primary) with different teachers, and each experience has been unique and fantastic. Our time is coming to an end now, but if we had the option, we would remain here until all of our children aged out. Although every child is different, I love the joy my children have when talking about the teachers and other staff and the fact that they run into the school each day, excited to be with them. When they were littler and would be very upset at drop off, the teachers would send me messages shortly after I left with pictures to show me how much happier everyone was! They have been so kind with my misplacing of forms or procrastination to return something, and they always give us plenty of notice about anything when they can (such as repairs or fun activity days). It is a great choice, and I hope your kids have as good of a time as mine did!
We send our daughter (4 years old) & son here (19 month old) 5 days a week. The teachers are amazing and greet them with big smiles and hugs. She likes the "work" she does (montessori-style individual learning), and talks about her classmates all the time. She's constantly learning new skills and words/concepts with a focus on development in logical steps. They worked with her on potty training, which was a great help. He's learning lots of words and life skills/motor skills! The school offers fun activities on various days, parent-night-outs, etc + extracurriculars are available. The director Mary provides a ton of communication, and is easily accessible for concerns. Meals are provided on site. It's a nice classroom size also!
