Sara was a God-send!!
Being that this is my first pregnancy, I, like most first time mothers, am quite nervous about the many things that are completely new to me. Not to mention the unique situation behind my and my husband's lifestyle (we travel together for his job).
Half way into our cross-America trip, I found out I was pregnant and desperately needed someone to talk to who would be close to where we were going to be (Walton, KY).
Sara was there for me. She helped me through some (for me) scary moments-- with warm professionalism and grace towards me; even with my MANY questions, phone calls, and an impromptu appointment.

We were so hoping to be in the area for a little over a year, but unfortunately, my husband was sent to a different project; so we are up and moving again, but I cannot leave without saying how incredible Sara Ferguson is. The amount of help she gave me is indescribable and I'm so heartbroken that she won't be the one helping me bring my baby into the world.
Thankfully, she is very much a part of the midwife/homebirth community; locally and nationally-- and has given us the contact of another Midwife near our next location. Where we'll be for for a year! (Hopefully! 🙏)

Sara was absolutely amazing for my home birth. She made my experience everything I wanted it to be. One of the best things about having a midwife like Sara is she talks with you and not at you, and she truly listens. She is also a skilled medical professional, and she was able to handle what could have been an emergency situation with a cool head. If my husband and I decide to have any more children, I will definitely be having a home birth with Sara again.

Sara Ferguson was my midwife with my 4th baby and first home birth. It was a magical experience! I can’t recommend her enough. She let me be in control during my pregnancy and my birth. The birth went exactly the way I wanted it to. Most importantly, we were both safe and in good hands.

Sara was my midwife for the prenatal care and birth of my third child. I knew the third time around I wanted nothing to do with hospitals and interventions if possible. That’s where Sara came in. She’s the ONLY one I needed to see for my care, other than the ultrasound and lab work. I was nervous because I’m considered advanced maternal age, at 38...but she never once made me feel as if there were concerns or doubts that I could have an amazing, intervention free homebirth. She even came to ME for appointments!! Because of her and her student midwife/doula, Mackenzie, I had the most beautifully memorable birthing experience!! One that surpassed my hopes!! It was the most intimate, calm (even through my moment of sheer terror and panic during pushing) and comforting birthing experience I could’ve had. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and I never once doubted her experience and abilities. This was my healing, empowering birth and I owe so much of that to her and Mackenzie. I don’t plan to have any more children, but if it happens, I’m contacting Sarah right away. She’s brilliant. ❤️
