This elegant bed and breakfast is beautifully arrayed with antiques specific to the historical site.
Jay and Holly welcome all guests with their vast knowledge of recreational and historical "must do's".
Superb breakfast, views and comfort.
An absolute special place that I will always treasure.
Chaplin Hill is not your regular B&B. It is something very special. The house is filled with some of the most beautiful period correct antiques, you’d think you were in a living museum. This is not a museum, however. It is an incredibly peaceful and welcoming place that you can call your own during your stay. Sitting on the veranda in the evening quiet beyond belief. The food is made from scratch and is to die for. But what really sets Chaplin Hill apart are Holly and Jay. We really enjoyed talking with them while we were there and left feeling like we had spent a couple of days with old friends that we’d known for years. We will be back.
This is a bit over due as we stayed with Holly and Jay back in November but it was a fantastic first bed and breakfast experience. Our expectations are extremely high for any bed and breakfast we may stay at in the future. Holly and Jay made us feel like family! My husband and I were just talking about planning our next trip in the spring to Danville to stay at Chaplin Hill . You will not regret staying here!
A picturesque setting, amazing antiques, and delicious food - what more would a traveler want? Chaplin Hill Bed & Breakfast provides this and more! Besides enjoying a cup of coffee and a good book from the Inn’s veranda and many gathering rooms, we have included quick day trips to historic Perryville, Danville, Harrodsburg, and Shaker Village and plan a future visit Lexington’s Keeneland. Innkeepers Jay and Holly have made each visit a unique experience while we were visiting family in the area. Don’t pass up a chance to visit this jewel of central Kentucky!
This place is absolutely gorgeous! From the people that own the home, to the decor that maintains the original atmosphere of the home. This place is a must see and a must stay. The owner gave us a history of the home upon arrival which is so neat! This place is convenient, quiet, and relaxing. Will go back again. Oh and the cookies were DELICIOUS!
