I want to start out by saying Dr. Arla helped save my life!!! My name is Brittany and I am in recovery from substance abuse. I used to be so mad at Dr. Arla because he would not prescribe me opiates. Everytime I overdosed or hurt myself he always came and saw me in the hospital trying to help me get off the drugs. Dr. Arla has always stood by me and believed in me when I couldnt believe in myself. Now I have 5 years clean and I am so grateful that I have a doctor who cared enough about me to help me get clean. I wish all doctors cared about there patients the way Dr. Arla does. Now that I am clean I work in the recovery field and I help people get clean. I also go to the schools and share my story with the students to help them stay clean. Thank you Dr. Arla for the amazing care that you have given me over the years! You are the best!

I have been a patient of Dr. Arla for a little over a year now and I have to say I am so grateful that I found him. He is the most caring easy going doctor i have ever seen. He truly cares about his patients and their health. He does a wonderful job at explaining what is wrong. I will never see anyone else and ive had alot of my family switch to him since i have and we all just think the world of him . thank you so much for being the best doctor I could ask for.

Dr Arla has been treating me and my family since I was a young child. He is a caring family doctor who gives a personal touch that few have these days. He knows me and all my family by sight and he remembers our illnesses and medical history. My sister has special needs and he has always been there to help and support her and my mother. He listens to my concerns and is thorough with making sure he gets a diagnosis or the right medication.

Dr. Arla is amazing. I have known Dr. Arla since I was child. He knows my entire family who have been patients as well as currently are patients. Dr. Arla was once able to openly joke and give a hug without any misperceptions - as we were treated as family. However, Dr. Arla and other family doctors are no longer at liberty to treat his patients as family . Dr. Arla offers more than his medical expertise he offers a smile and genuinely cares for his patients. The family doctor should be allowed to freely express concern for his or her patients (ie a smile, joking, or a hug) as well as offer medical expertise.

The family doctor should be at freedom to return to FAMILY. We cannot place a price on the doctor who treats his or her patients as family and not a number.
