(August 29, 2021, 8:32 pm)This was my first experience with John. We immediately hit it off talking about trucks. Even though he is young I could tell he was an old school type guy. He completely rebuilt a 4L80E for a 2000 GMC dually for me. The transmission has performed flawlessly. He explained many things about the transmission to me before tearing into it and explained what he found once he tore it down. Do your research, John replaces all of the electrical components as part of the rebuild, not every shop does. I am 100% confident that if any problem does come up with my transmission he will stand behind it. I will definitely do business here in the future.
(February 13, 2021, 9:10 pm)I feel there are not many maintenance shop that instantly make you feel comfortable and trustworthy. John did just that! Hopefully I'll never need to see these guys again, but If I need any service. I know exactly where I'm going again. Highly recommend!!

I had a 4l80e transmission built earlier this year for my turbocharged Cadillac Escalade, the results I couldn’t be more pleased with. When I had questions/concerns about the project or install SS transmission was only a phone call away, answering the phone and returning my phone calls every time. Being a person that is extremely picky about his vehicles, I can say they treated my vehicle with care while having great attention to detail. Since then, I have had SS transmission install a posi unit and upgrade the rear axel of my suv, again the results were beyond satisfactory. SS transmission has earned my future business. With the quality professional work done by John and his team you will not be disappointed.
(October 12, 2016, 1:19 pm)I took my truck to SS Transmission when I was concerned about how many miles I would be able to get out of it. Their customer service was incredible. When all was said and done, their advice was far more beneficial to me than it would have been if they would have used me to make more money. They did what was in my best interests. They come highly recommended in the community and provide amazing work.
