Herald Family Dentistry

I came in for a second opinion on a dental estimate. I had been with Dr. Herald previously for several years before I moved. He was my first choice for a second opinion because his track record inspires trust.
Dr. Herald and his hygienist gave it all they had. I took way more of their time than I realized being they had other patients. Dr. Herald was very courteous about this but I felt very bad. In reality understanding dental estimates requires dental education no laymen has. it requires much more than any one appointment's few minutes.
Dr. Herald's effort was much greater than any other dentist would have given. No dentist can afford to cover this area in the alloted time. To go over the time means the dentist is losing money. He was extremely patient and followed every angle and issue I presented. He came down to my level and bridged the gap between a layman and an expert.
This appointment as well as my previous experience with Dr. Herald shows he is one of the few dentists that cares about his patients. I have had 7 or 8 dentists in my long lifetime and he is unique. For his own treatment plan he gives you the truth about what you need to do. He breaks it down to what should take precedence and what is most practical and functional.
I cannot thank Dr. Herald for pushing his time constraints as far as he could and maybe past what he could. This is a dentist with integrity!

Efficient practice that runs on time. My appointment started a little early. Great service from the moment I stepped through the door. This was my first visit to the practice as I relocated from out-of-state and the quality of service is similar to my prior dentist’s practice.

Every step was clearly explained and costs were clearly laid out so I could make informed decisions about my care.

The practice was clean and bright. The waiting area had seating set up for social distancing. Hand sanitizer and masks were available also.

I had a terrific experience. Very informative and transparent about the suggested dental plan. I hadn’t been to a dentist in around 6 years (was too busy taking care of everyone else!), and my cleaning was long and a bit intense as would be expected but my hygienist was awesome. No pain and great conversation (to the extent I could talk!). Highly recommended.

I started going to Herald Family Dentistry about 3 years ago and couldn’t be happier. The facility is modern, clean and equipped the latest dental technology. Dr. Herald, Katie B. and the rest of the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and just plan awesome. Herald Family Dentistry makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience.
