Red State BBQ

Some of the best BBQ we've ever eaten. The sauces are fantastic. We recommend the brisket for sure. The take out as well as dine in work well. The place does fill up fast and and its a little tight inside the restaurant. The parking is gravel so low profile cars probably not recommended. We've eaten here multiple times and have always left happy and satisfied. Thanks to the staff for great food and great service.

The only reason I gave this place five stars is that i couldn't give it 6. The food quality, quantity, price, and speed of delivery were all shockingly good. The staff and atmosphere was even better. Please give this place your time and business then thank me after you do.

Just flew in from Houston TX. Stopped by for lunch while waiting to check in at hotel. What a pleasant surprise. Ordered the daily special of twice smoked brisket and 2 sides. Awesome!! Reminded me of how BBQ use to be when I was young. Absolutely delicious.. everything from the sweet tea to the greens. The staff was super nice and friendly. Will be here for 3 weeks. Definitely will return.

Outstanding. What a fun little slice of Kentucky. A small, side-of-the-road gem surrounded by horse farms, the bbq and brisket are great. Good slaw, fries, banana pudding, and gallons of sweet tea. Indoor dining available, with well spaced tables. Quick hop off of 71/75 and far better than fast food. Wall-writing optional, but recommended. 😉

Friendly and helpful staff. Food was prepared very quickly. Wasn't a huge fan of the brisket, but it was tender and thick. The sauce was great, the price was very affordable, and the tea was fresh! Fun atmosphere 😊👍
