(March 14, 2016, 10:32 am)I'm a homeowner and thought I needed $60 worth of washer tub suspension rods to fix a rubbing noise coming from my GE Profile clothes washer. On the phone, Don suggested that I first try using a damp cloth to clean off the plastic cups that the top of the old rods sit in. That worked beautifully and the noise is now gone.
