  On Aug 5, I was visiting my mother after work. Her caretaker, Aaliyah (Tish), popped in a number of times just to check on mom. I think that shows how much she loves her job & the residents. Thank u Aaliyah & Meadowthorpe!

  My Mom, Juanita had the privilege of staying at Meadowthorpe for 3 weeks while my husband and I, were on a mission trip. My mom has dementia but it was determined that it would be better for her to stay in the less restrictive Assisted Living area. She also has special dietary needs. Well, I would like to inform anyone considering MAL (Meadowthorpe A/L), this place and the staff - from manager to caregivers- are exceptional. My mom is a Vegan, upon our arrival to her beautiful apartment -there was already in the fridge soy milk and almond butter placed there as a special greeting and reassurance that her dietary needs could and would be met. And they were!! Her caregivers were wonderful and the A/L environment choice was the right match for her. She was active in the exercise programs and her family and friends visits were welcomed and appreciated. I would not hesitate to have my Mom stay there again or live there if that became necessary. Her apartment was well played out and beautifully furnished. The house provided the social interaction she needed and the staff members were warm and friendly and so kind to the residents. My mom was treated with love and respect. May GOD continue to bless the staff, as they serve, and the residents, as they live and thrive, at Meadowthorpe. Sincerly, ReneeCairo.

  I’ve never seen a place with this much love! From residents to staff it’s amazing to watch everyone smile and enjoy one another! This is definitely a place I hold deeply in my heart! Staff goes above and beyond and it shows through the residents and their family!

  The MAL staff has gone above and beyond expectations with Mother. When it was time to move her to memory care they placed her in the apartment with the same spatial orientation as her former apartment, took photos of her room and moved everything and brought in extra staff and placed her furniture, knick knacks and photos in the exact same place as her old rooms (even down to the order of her shoes in the closet), and made the transition as stress free for her as possible. I have been very impressed with the level of care, the quality of the staff, the atmosphere, the quality of the food and the beauty of the facility. And the rates are very reasonable. I keep waiting for “ the other shoe to drop!" :)

  I am honored to be a part of the Meadowthorpe Assisted Living Family. As a mother and professional, it was imperative for me to find a work home in which I had the potential to grow and be of service to those in need while still being able to maintain focus on my family. From the moment I walked through the doors of our community, I knew I had found something unique.
  
  Our staff is dedicated to the most important piece in senior living...providing outstanding care and support to each and every resident. They love our residents like family and treat them like their very own. The personal connections among staff, residents, and their family members is unparalleled. We all work as a team to ensure each resident’s care needs are met and to problem solve any challenges that may arise.
  
  It is difficult to articulate what working for this place has done for me personally and professionally but I will make an attempt. I have formed relationships with residents, staff, and family members that will last a lifetime; I have been afforded the opportunity to grow within the company; and my work environment at Meadowthorpe Assisted Living provides such joy and meaning that I am able to genuinely love my career.
  
  I would choose Meadowthorpe Assisted Living a thousand times over, whether as a work home, or care environment for someone I love dearly. The dignity and love imparted upon each and every resident is touching and I am grateful to be a part of it.
