Holy Mother Queen of All GOC

A very holy place. Great people also. Fr William is a lover of theology and history, and relates it well to how we live today. Artwork is breathtaking.

I recently converted to the Orthodox Church and began my conversion at Holy Mother Queen of All. For my first services there and at the Divine Liturgy I was greeted by many people at the parish who were warm and welcoming and made me feel like I was home and part of their family. The church building itself is beautiful, inside and out and the people are just wonderful and have been a blessing to someone who didn’t really know much about the Orthodox Church. I’ve never once felt out of place and I feel truly blessed to have found a home parish like Panagia Pantovasilissa here in Lexington!!

It is a very warm and welcoming parish. The community is diverse with Greeks, Romanians, Arabs, Ethiopians and other American Kentuckians. The liturgy is largely in English with substantial portions in Greek and a little Romanian. The Lord’s Prayer is said in as many languages as possible each Sunday! (The food is really great too!)

I have been to numerous churches and Holy Mother Queen of All is now my home of worship. How wonderful to experience true reverence and sincerity of faith . I was accepted with open arms by all in an atmosphere that continues to give the opportunity to not only receive love but ways to give back as well.

Holy Mother Queen of All is a beautiful spiritual home where Christ and the Theotokos watch over the people from an icon with a history as old as the Church. It's a shining example of the light of the Orthodox faith in Kentucky. And it's the best church family you'll find in Lexington. We're so blessed to have met so many wonderful people devoted to Christ!
